We received many "Thank Yous" and many kind words for the efforts that went into the reunion. We thought that all of you might enjoy reading them.....

To the reunion crew, you deserve a standing ovation. Job well done!
Janet and I had a wonderful time and look forward to the next one... there were so many classmates I missed. Hope we can makeup for it next time around.
Stay healthy and see you all again in 5 years!

You guys all did such a great job for the reunion. I was glad I attended this one.
Thanks again, BARB BALDT

What a fun reunion. It was great to see you!
Take care, RENEE

It was a terrific event, and my wife and I enjoyed it immensely! Extremely well-organized, good venue, good buffet dinner, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar names and find out all the things they've been up to over the intervening years. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
Always, JOHN K. LANDIS proud to be HHS Class of '61

Thanks so much for the picture and for all that you did to put the reunion together. We had fun seeing everyone. We were sorry that we had to go home Saturday before the evening dinner, however we certainly enjoyed the Friday night meal. If you ever get up to State College give us a call.
JUDY YOUNG

We had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone.
EILEEN HORTER

Once again, you and all the other "Fordians" who helped organize the reunion deserve a standing ovation for a job well done. Take the very best of care!
HUNTER

Thanks, it was a great time. You can see that those of you who have stayed in touch over the years and still live in the area, still have a lot in common. Food for thought – someone mentioned to me that they thought perhaps classmates would be introduced and stand up like 20 at a time. Then everyone could see who was there and make a point to talk with those they especially wanted to. I missed Mark Merin, drat. I’m sure others too. But, I was able to connect with the gang I went through Church, youth fellowship etc. with. In fact, we had breakfast on Sat at Fred Kalck’s home near Downingtown.
Congrat’s to the entire committee – lots of work, but it was a great event.
JANE SCHOFIELD

Hey, just a note to say thanks to you and all the people who put the party together. I am aware of the amount of work involved in the process. It was a wonderful party, great choice of places, great food, etc, etc,,,,, Great to see some old friends.Once again, thanks to everyone. You guys did a great job!!!!!!!
BOB ARCIERO

I had a wonderful time. Didn’t stay very long but I never stay long anywhere. It was great to see you and friends from so long ago. You and the others who put so much into this reunion should be gratified. You did a wonderful job. I was very glad that I was there.
Be well, HARRY

I just wanted to thank you for taking your time to provide such a great experience for all of us who graduated from HHS in 1961. I am sure you are aware that the reunion you helped plan was a resounding success! It certainly exceeded all of our expectations. I have dined at the Mendenhall Inn on many occasions but this was my first time there for a banquet. Aside from the good food and great atmosphere – it was very enjoyable spending time with old friends. Thank you for arranging such a delightful evening. (Maybe we should have one very year – LOL)! I bet you haven’t recovered from this one yet – so much work involved. Thank you again for all you’ve done.
All the Best, CATHERINE JAMES HETHERINGTON

Marlyn and I wanted to thank you for doing such a wonderful job pulling people together and organizing the reunion. It was wonderful in all respects.
Congratulations! DALE AND MARLYN

All y'all, (that's the way I talk now) did a wonderful job with the reunion. I had a blast. It was so much fun connecting to the faces from my past. Thanks for all your hard work, it totally paid off.
WENDY (FUTURE SODDIE)

What a great reunion....really glad I made it. Stay in touch, and I hope to see you again at the next one (or sooner if we can arrange it)
Warmest Regards, DICK AND JUDY (Richard S. Hyatt, LTC, U.S. Army, retired)

Was a great reunion, you gals did a wonderful job!!!!!! I heard the golf sucked, glad I didn,t bring my clubs!!
DENNIS EBY

Thank you so much for doing a most fabulous job on the reunion. It appears everyone had a better than just 'good' time. Sure glad we didn't have it a week later. We would have still been there. Maybe that isn't such a bad thing.
LYNN SCHLESINGER

It was great seeing you at Reunion '61. The night was wonderful and the committee needs to be congratulated and thanked for their efforts.
ROGER HENDLER

Walt and I are obviously fraternal twins, so no one expects us to look or behave alike. However, occasionally we do things the same like buy the same bicycle or see the same movie on the same night. It has happened once again. Both of us left our reunion booklets on the table!
I am reluctant to even suggest this as you did so much work in preparation for that wonderful event. Is there anyway, you could mail me those or leftover ones? I do want to send out some thank you notes and other notes to people I was so happy to see after all these years.
I think the reunion committee did a fantastic job. I went to my husband's 50th a year ago. It was a hoot! But, not as well done as ours was.
Sincerely, DEBBIE (KNORR) HAAVIK

Super sensational, thank you for such a nice event.
Be well, JOEL ALTMAN

Thanks for all your work on this.
George Rutherford

I just wanted to thank you for all you did to help make our reunion such a success. You go girl.
Love, THEDA

What a wonderful reunion you and the committee put together. My friends
and I had an awesome time and appreciated the effort the committee made to
contact so many classmates. Wish the party could have gone on longer as I
didn't get to see everyone on Friday. Looking forward to doing this again in
five years.
Thanks so much for everything, LOIS BUTTERWORTH

Just a note to say thanks for all you did putting the reunion together. I had twice the fun I expected, and really regret not attending any before- a 50 year void is too long. Take care. Stay in touch.
STEVE CROSLEY

Thanks also for all your work to make this happen.
DAVE WYANT

I want to thank you and all those who worked so hard to make the reunion such a success,
between Al's class 1960, and ours, we have gone to six reunions, this was by far the" best ", most organized one that we have gone to. Marilyn and I really had a great time, seeing everyone again and catching up on everything.
Thanks again for all your hard work, and for making it such a wonderful evening. BARBARA BORTH DI FELICE

You did a very good job for us at the reunion. Thank you.
ANN LUNKER GOLDSTEIN

Just a little note thanking you for “The Class of 61” update book. I know a great deal of time and work goes into an undertaking of this magnitude.
Many thanks to all, ANDREW JINGOZIAN

Hi all. So sorry to take such a long time sending this note but I've been traveling. Just wanted to thank everyone who had anything to do with the reunion. It was amazing and I loved seeing everyone. It was a BALL but who were all those old people who wandered in? Happy Holidays and THANKS to all!
Hugs, COOKIE COOKENBACH VAN GILDER

Sorry it took me so long to reply. It was another thing I meant to do which somehow escaped my attention. In any event thank you for the picture. The reunion was fabulous. The committee did a fantastic job. Mendenhall has certainly grown over the years and the accommodations and food were excellent. I was really surprised at the quality of the meal for such a large group.
I know this is redundant but I can't say enough about the job the committee did. Kudos' to all involved. Looking forward to our next reunion provided that we are all around to attend.
TURREY

Just a note to let you know we had a wonderful time at the reunion and all seemed to be nicely organized. The Reunion Committee did a fantastic job and did great computer work. So often when you go to a function such as this you can't expect the food to be to be a focus but it was certainly fine. I feel like the conversations were more involved than most of the previous reunions. My only regret is there never seems to be enough time to catch up on everything. Thanks for all your hard work and planning. We stayed with my maid of honor in my wedding who lives in the same area so very convenient. Hope you were able to enjoy yourselves as well. Mendenhall was the perfect place. The Brandywine area is so beautiful.
Thanks again, PETE AND NANCY GASSENMEYER COMBS
